About Washington Supply Company
Founded in 1893, we are northwestern Connecticut's most complete home center, with everything you need to build and finish your home.
In 1893 Local farming families formed a "co-partnership" on the 20th of March to open the Washington Feed and Supply Co and in 2018 we celebrated 125 years in business!
Products
Building materials
The lumber yard houses materials used for framing residential construction. In addition to engineered and dimensional lumber, sheeting and sub-flooring, yard materials include roofing, insulation, decking, fencing and sheetrock.
Lawn & Garden
Our Lawn and Garden store carries a full range of natural fertilizers, pest control, weed control, premium organic soils, grass seeds, fertilizers, mulch, soil, straw and pesticides. We have garden tools in stock year round and we’re proud to carry locally made items in our Gift Shop including Christmas gifts and decorations, candles and Woodstock wind chimes.
Hardware
For both contractors and homeowners, the general hardware offering is comparable to big box retailers, but from a local source. Product lines include fasteners, site protection, hand & power tools, safety gear, electrical, as well as auto amongst others.
Paint & Accessories
In addition to carrying the full line of Benjamin Moore quality products, our Paint Department offers custom color matching, stains, varnishes, adhesives, caulking, abrasives and sanding equipment plus all the accessories and sundries required for application, protection and clean up for projects small and large.

TOOL repair and saw sharpening
Maybe a tool has stopped working correctly. Give us a week and we'll have your tool repaired and back on the job. We also offer saw sharpening including circular saw blades and planar knives and hole saws. We can repair or replace your chainsaw chains and sharpen your kitchen knives and pruning shears.
screen and glass repair
We cut single plate glass as well as Plexiglas to fit your needs. Stop in to see us and let us assist in your glass repair. We can also repair and replace screens on all sizes of windows and doors.
